Carnatic Katcheri Auditions Guidelines
  1. Open to participants globally.
  2. The participation is open to Solo / Duet / Group
  1. Performance can be Vocal / Instrument
  1. Initial selection will be from the 15 – 20 min performance video submitted.
  1. Judges will select Top 10 applicants in each category based on the audition recordings submitted .
  1. The selected candidates will be invited to record a 45  min or 1.5 hr katcheri with accompanists of their choice. The performer will receive a team remuneration of RM 150 – RM 500 based on the category.
  1. The Top 10 performances will be premiered during the MYICMF 2021.
  1. The best katcheri as adjudged by the esteemed judges from India as well as most “Likes” received from audience will be invited to perform a 1.5 hr katcheri ( LIVE) at MYICMF 2022 (Subject to covid/travel restrictions lifted – conditions apply)
  1. All participants will be awarded e-Certificates of Participation. Top 10 applicants will be awarded e-Certificates of Achievement.
  1. Decision of the judges will be final and no appeal will be entertained at any level.

  1. Late registrations will not be entertained. Registration fees will not be refunded.
