In 2019, we introduced the Concerts and Workshops segment. The live event was graced by International artistes like Bombay Jayashri, Sudha Ragunathan as well as child prodigy, Rahul Vellal. The Lifetime Arts Achievement Awards was also introduced to honour veteran artistes who contributed immensely to the arts industry. 10 veteran artistes were honoured.
In 2020, we pivoted the Festival online due to the pandemic. A new Competition segment was introduced. We had 68 concerts, 9 workshops and 319 entries for the competition from 13 countries. Total viewership was 104,320.
In 2021, the festival continued online due to the ongoing pandemic. We had 83 concerts, 26 Conferences and 529 entries for Competition from 11 countries. Another 10 veteran artistes were honoured for the Lifetime Arts Achievement Awards. Total viewership was 151,276.
In 2022 we are geared for a hybrid festival, both online and physical. We had 2 concerts, 2 Conferences and 500 entries for Competition from 9 countries.
This year 2023 we will be fully physical. MYICMF strongly feels that art has a pivotal role in the creation of healthy minds, and hence through its meaningful activities it is contributing to build a healthy peaceful society.
