Kum. Spoorthi Rao, 17 years old, is an upcoming carnatic vocalist. Born in Bangalore, she started learning music at the young age of three from her mother Sindhu Rao. Earlier, she learnt from Vid. Yashasvi Subbarao and Sri Narahari Dixit, after which her family moved to Chennai to nurture her talent. She is now under the able guidance and tutelage of the renowned Vidushis Smt. Ranjani and Gayatri for over seven years.

With the blessings of her gurus, she had her arangetram in Rasika Ranjani Sabha as well as her first Margazhi music season in 2019, and has been blessed with opportunities to perform in prestigious platforms.

Spoorthi is currently studying in Class XI, scored 99% in CBSE Class 10 boards and has affinity towards her academics.

Great Grand Daughters of Bharat Ratna M.S. Subbulakshmi S Aishwarya & S Saundarya are one of the most popular musicians in Carnatic Music from the younger generation. Both of them are the Great Grand Daughters of Bharat Ratna M.S. Subbulakshmi & the Grand Daughters of Dr Radha Viswanathan and indeed the torch bearers of such a precious legacy.

Aishwarya began her first lessons directly from MS Amma and Radha Viswanathan when she was hardly 4 years old on Vijayadashami Day. The huge repertoire of songs which was part of the MS Bani, was painstakingly taught to Aishwarya by her Grandmother Dr Radha for a period of almost 20 years. Aishwarya has also been learning from Karnataka Kalashree Vidushi Smt Jambu Kannan for the last 17 years. She is a proficient Veena player too training in the reputed Karaikudi style from Sri A Shankar Raman and Smt B Nagalakshmi. Aishwarya has won various awards from many organisations most notably being designated as the Ambassador of Classical Arts by the Connecticut State Assembly in 2016. She was named as the rising star of Carnatic Music by the AMN Global Group in March 2017.

She has also won the Vocational Excellence Award from the Rotary Club of India and the Young Achiever Award from the A3 Foundation – Chandigarh in the year 2016 and recently bestowed with the “Pride of India” Award by the Maharashtra Journalists Foundation. S. Saundarya has been learning under the guidance of Sangitha Kala Acharya Smt Neela Ramgopal for 5 years. She is also training on the violin under the tutelage of Smt Anuthama Murali and Sri Vishwajith Mattur. Saundarya is an upcoming dancer too training under the Vazhuvoor Bani from Smt Sumitra Nitin. Saundarya is extremely accomplished in Western Violin too having completed her Grade 3 with distinction from Associated Board of the Royal School of Music – London (ABRSM) in Nov 2019. Saundarya too has been conferred with the “Pride of India” Award by the Maharashtra Journalist Foundation.

Both the sisters Aishwarya & Saundarya also learn Hindustani Music under Pandit Nagaraj Rao Havaldar and Sri Omkarnath Havaldar. In Oct 2017 both the sisters Aishwarya & Saundarya were invited by the Indian Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi to sing at his residence wherein they sang the composition “Maithreem Bhajatha” of Mahaperiaval of Kanchi which was composed for World Peace and sung at the United Nations in 1966 by Smt M S Subbulakshmi & Smt Radha Viswanathan. The sisters are a sensation on Social Media with their videos on Facebook and YouTube garnering over 25 million views Both the sisters are sure to become top notch performers and stars in the field of Music in the not too distant future.

Sriranjani Santhanagopalan (Born 14th March, 1989) is one of the most sought-after musicians in the Carnatic music field today. She is the daughter and disciple of Vidwan Neyveli.Sri.R.Santhanagopalan. She has a consistent record of well-received concerts, and has travelled extensively within India and abroad including almost 25 cities in the United States of America, Singapore, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Australia, New Zealand etc, propagating the divine art of Carnatic music.

Sriranjani also runs a highly successful music school namely, “Sriranjani’s Tapasya”
